How the Expert Collective Review Process Works
Step 1: Review the Budget and Timeframe
Before beginning, check the total budget allocated to the paper and the length of the reviewing period. This information will help you understand the available payment pool and the deadline for submitting comments.
Step 2: Submit Scientific Comments
Review the paper and submit clear, constructive and evidence-based scientific comments. Your comments must then be validated by another participating expert before they are counted toward the final payment calculation.
Step 3: Receive Your Share of the Budget
At the end of the reviewing period, the allocated budget is distributed according to each expert’s proportion of validated comments.
For example, if 10% of all validated comments were submitted by you, you will receive 10% of the allocated reviewing budget.
Only validated comments are included in the payment calculation.
Step 4: Update Your ABN and Payment Details
Before participating, make sure your Australian Business Number (ABN) and payment details are current on the platform. Payments may be delayed if your information is incomplete or incorrect.
Please contact Environmental Analytics through our contact page if you need assistance updating your details or understanding the review process.
